Fashion and Water

It can be said that fashion is like water. It is continuous and ever changing, providing life, color and beauty to an otherwise drab or barren landscape. It can be without form or adhere to the shape of whatever contains it. As a photographer is it my role to capture or solidify an otherwise fluid state of fashion and preserved it, for documented study or visual appreciation. Taking in the works of Steichen, Stieglitz, Newton, Avedon and Meisel, we can witness at the state of fashion as it progressed from early 20th century to present. Fashion and form are present in the body of my work, contained within the sculpted structure of my perspective.
